Instagram is hiding likes on some accounts this week.
Instagram announced it’s doing a month-long test to hide like counts. If your account is part of the test, users will not be able to see the number of likes and views on your photos and videos that show in the feed. Equally, select users will no longer see likes and views on posts from other accounts.
Users will be able to see their own likes and views. According to Instagram, the change is a step toward change the way people engage on the platform.
