The concept of public relations can sometimes be confusing, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether you lead a large corporation with a big communications and marketing budget, or a solopreneur whose focus is securing clients, your brand needs some form of effective communication and aspects of public relations to be successful.
In a nutshell, PR is strategically managing how your brand is perceived by the public. This is accomplished with clear and effective communication.
Brands tend to leave PR out of their marketing plan because they don’t know how the PR function works, or they think they can’t afford it. But implementing PR practices does not have to be difficult and expensive. It’s ok to start of small with easy PR strategies. That’s why I’m making PR simple!
