A new feature is coming to Facebook to allow users to temporarily disable notifications.
‘Quiet Mode’ will mute notifications from the Facebook app for a set period of time. Users will be allowed to select how long quiet mode is in use. When users open the app, they will get a reminder that they set aside time to limit the app.
Facebook said the new feature is to help users adjust how they spend time online.
An official launch date of quiet mode has not been announced.
