Visual artist performs hair painting at the Columbus Museum

The Columbus Museum’s Young Art Patrons featured a unique contemporary artist at their acquisition party Friday evening.

Jarrett Key performed his creative hair painting on site that will be acquired through the Young Arts Patrons’ fundraising efforts to add to the museum’s collection.

Key is a native of Alabama who now resides in New York. He uses his hair to create paintings. His does live performances to music that he also creates.

Friday’s event was a good turnout with several guests have to stand and even make comfortable spots on the floor. Key’s performance was roughly 20 minutes but kept the audience enthused as many recorded his work.
