Popular black sitcoms from the 90s, early 2000s coming to Netflix


Some of your favorite shows from the 90s and early 2000s are coming to Netflix!

Netflix announced seven black sitcoms will be available for your viewing pleasures. The list includes “Sister, Sister, “Moesha,” “The Game,” “Girlfriends,” and more.

The shows will begin streaming in the next few weeks with some launching in early September and October. Netflix shared the news via Twitter on its Strong Black Lead account. Strong Black Lead was launched in 2018 to boost black content and black creators.

  • Moesha – August 1

  • The Game S1-S3 – August 15

  • Sister Sister – Sept. 1

  • Girlfriends – Sept. 11

  • The Parkers – October 1

  • Half & Half – October 15

  • One on One – October 15
