Lil Wayne and Birdman’s ongoing legal battle has finally ended.
Wayne’s long-awaited "Tha Carter V" album will be released under Universal and the two reached an $8 million settlement.
It’s being reported that none of the money came from Birdman, rather Universal cut the check.
According to The Blast, the music company was comfortable with the payment because it believes funds will be recouped from Drake's and Nicki Minaj's profits.
Wayne initially sued Birdman’s Cash Money Records to void his record deal. He accused the label of owing him millions to include an $8 million advance for "Tha Carter V."
